- Beverage Preparation: Craft high-quality espresso-based coffees, manual pours (filter coffee), and cold brews according to restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
- Quality Control: Calibrate the espresso machine and grinder daily (dialing-in) to ensure taste profile, extraction, and milk texturing are consistently perfect.
- Customer Engagement: Greet guests warmly, share knowledge about different coffee beans, roast profiles, and brewing methods, and recommend food pairings.
- Bar Maintenance: Operate and clean coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and grinders regularly to maintain peak performance and hygiene.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor coffee bean stock, milk, syrups, and take-away packaging, reporting shortages to the manager.
- Cashiering: Handle the POS system, take orders accurately, and process payments.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of barista or coffee brewing experience in a specialty cafe or restaurant preferred. Candidates with basic skills and a strong passion for coffee culture are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in espresso extraction, milk frothing (latte art is a major plus), and alternative brewing methods (V60, Aeropress, Cold Brew, etc.).
