• Role Overview: Supporting the Senior Construction Manager, this role is responsible for
the holistic quality assurance and quality control of all physical works executed by the
Subcontractor. The engineer will ensure that every stage of construction, from structural
framing to the final architectural finishes, strictly adheres to the Client's highest
standards.
• Specific Responsibilities:
o Comprehensive Quality Management: Monitor and inspect all civil, structural,
and architectural works. This includes overseeing everything from the initial
concrete/steel structures to the final interior and exterior finishes (e.g., masonry,
plastering, tiling, painting, and fixtures).
o Critical Inspections & Defect Management: Conduct mandatory milestone
inspections (including but not limited to 48-hour water leakage tests for wet
areas and roofing) and proactively manage site quality. Identify non-compliant
works, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and manage the final Punch List
for defect rectification prior to handover.
o Holistic Material & Method Control: Ensure all construction materials,
methodologies, and site mock-ups strictly comply with the approved Method
Statements, Material Approval Requests (MAR), and contract specifications.
• Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a minimum of 5
years of comprehensive QA/QC and site finishing supervision experience.
