- Order Delivery: Transport food and beverage orders safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner from the restaurant to customers' residential or commercial locations.
- Order Verification: Inspect orders against receipts and packing slips prior to departure to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper packaging (especially keeping hot and cold food items properly separated).
- Customer Service: Represent the restaurant professionally, greeting customers politely and handling deliveries with care.
- Payment Handling: Collect payments (cash or digital transactions) securely and accurately reconcile delivery earnings and receipts with the cashier or manager at the end of each shift.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle (motorcycle, bicycle, or car) in clean, safe, and proper working condition, including routine checks of fuel, tires, and lights.
- In-Store Assistance: Assist kitchen or front-of-house staff with light packaging, restocking, or organizing orders during non-peak delivery hours.
- Experience: Previous experience as a delivery rider or courier in the food and beverage industry is preferred, but willing-to-learn candidates are welcome.
- Licensing & Documentation: Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle used (e.g., motorcycle or car license) with a clean driving record.
- Navigational Skills: Strong knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and efficient route-planning using GPS applications.
- Physical Fitness & Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and physically capable of handling a fast-paced role that involves being on the road in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic communication skills to coordinate effectively with customers and restaurant dispatchers.
- Requirements: Access to a reliable smartphone for navigation and order management apps.
