- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Monitor, supervise, and assign tasks to warehouse staff.
- Inspect incoming goods by cross-checking quantity, quality, and item types against delivery documents.
- Organize goods in the warehouse neatly and systematically for easy retrieval.
- Inspect and verify outgoing and transferred goods for accuracy.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory stock data in real time.
- Organize and supervise daily, weekly, or monthly stock counts.
- Identify and report any stock discrepancies, damage, or losses.
- Monitor labeling, code tags, and item positioning throughout the warehouse.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Finance, and Logistics departments regarding inventory requirements.
- Oversee safe loading, unloading, and handling of products in compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operational reports.
- Assist in training and guiding warehouse personnel on standard operating procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, guidelines, and work processes.
- Stand in for the Warehouse Manager to direct operational duties during their absence.
- Education: High school diploma or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience (1–3 years) in warehouse operations, stock management, or inventory control, ideally in a supervisory or senior capacity.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and stock auditing procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory software (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Excellent leadership, task allocation, and team management abilities.
- Good organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective cross-departmental communication skills.
