l. Review and dispense prescriptions, checking dose, interactions, contraindications, and allergies; contact
the prescriber when something is unclear.
l. Counsel patients on how to take medicines, side effects, and storage, in simple Khmer.
l. Advise on OTC medicines and vitamins, and refer to a doctor when symptoms need medical assessment.
l. Manage stock: ordering, receiving, FEFO rotation, expiry checks, cold-chain monitoring (2–8 °C), and
monthly stock counts.
l. Keep records of controlled and prescription-only medicines according to Ministry of Health (DDF) rules.
l. Verify supplier authenticity and product registration; report suspected counterfeit or substandard
medicines.
l. Coordinate with Yi Kuok Hospital doctors on formulary, availability, and hospital patient prescriptions.
l. Report adverse drug reactions and dispensing errors.
l. Supervise and train pharmacy assistants/sellers; keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant.
l. Use the POS/stock system accurately and handle cash and daily closing
l. Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognized university (UHS or equivalent).
l. Valid registration with the Cambodian Pharmacy Council (licence to practise).
l. Good knowledge of common drugs, interactions, and Cambodian pharmacy regulations.
l. Fluent Khmer; basic English for reading drug labels and leaflets.
l. Honest, careful, and customer-friendly; able to work shifts, including some weekends.
Preferred
l. 1–2 years' experience in a community or hospital pharmacy.
l. Experience with stock management or pharmacy software.
l. Basic French or good English (helpful for imported French products).
l. Interest in continuing education (clinical pharmacy, patient counselling)
