Lead Generation and Relationship Building:
Identify and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other methods.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement business development strategies and plans.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies and goals.
Sales and Negotiation:
Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Partnerships and Alliances:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances.
Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is often preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
