Job Description (JD):
Role Purpose:
To deliver engaging and high-quality mathematics instruction to high school students (Grades 9–12), fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for learning in an international and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Mathematics to students in Grades 9–12, aligned with the [IB/IGCSE/AP] curriculum.
Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Develop and administer formative and summative assessments.
Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and development.
Use technology effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
Participate in school activities including assemblies, clubs, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
Support student well-being and classroom behavior in alignment with the school’s values.
Participate in professional development opportunities and school initiatives.
Job Requirements (JR):
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (required)
Teaching qualification/license (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) (required)
Master’s Degree in Education or Mathematics (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching Mathematics at high school level (international experience preferred)
Familiarity with [IB Diploma Programme / Cambridge IGCSE / AP] curricula (preferred)
Experience working in a multicultural or international school setting (desirable)
