Job Description (JD):
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Phnom Penh. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting cost control strategies to improve profitability. This position plays a key role in financial planning and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and monitor cost data, including material, labor, and overhead

Prepare cost reports and variance analysis to support management decisions

Work with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate cost tracking

Maintain cost accounting system and ensure accurate posting of transactions

Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost-related insights

Assist in inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and monthly closing activities

Identify areas of cost reduction or process improvement

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Coordinate with auditors and support financial audits

Perform other accounting tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Job Requirements (JR):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, CPA is a plus)

2–4 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or product-based companies

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices

Experience with inventory systems and ERP/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking

Good communication and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good command of English and Khmer (written and spoken)
